Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil

So as a person who likes her makeup, I've become a fan of the cleansing oil routine.  I refer to it as the pre-cleanse because once I use the oil, I follow up with my regular cleanser. I've tried makeup wipes but wasn't sold.  One day while bumming around on the internet, specifically Sephora's website, I started to explore the Boscia line. I liked what I read and the next day acquired their cleansing oil.

Let me tell you, I love this stuff. I use this at the end of the day, when I need to take all my makeup off. I take a pump or two and gently rub all over my face including my eyes, then add a touch of water. This turns milky on your skin, I rub some more, then rinse and follow with my regular cleanser. This oil takes off all my makeup, including mascara, it doesn't sting or burn, even when I open my eyes to see if I missed a spot. So gentle and yet so effective. It contains eucalyptus oil and menthol, so you may experience that cooling sensation on your skin.  I guess that varies from person to person, because I didn't feel anything.

Boscia is a Japanese skin care line. Their products are preservative-free and botanically-based. I guess that may explain the cost a bit; a 150ml (5oz) bottle retails for $33 CAD ($23 US). Currently I am almost done with my second bottle, I was going to repurchase but then became tempted by something else on the market. Specifically cleansing oils from Clarins, Shu Uemura, and Dermalogica. I plan to eventually try them all. I'll review them as I do.

In conclusion; Boscia cleansing oil is awesome. It is also my first cleansing oil, only time will tell if I still feel the same about it, once I've sampled others.
