Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Daytime Facial Cream

Dr. Oz loves sea buckthorn. He says it's the #1 natural remedy for acne prone skin. This line came on the shopping channel one night, and since I was running out of moisturizer I decided to give it a try.

At $20.95 CAD for 1 fl. oz. it's wallet friendly (for me at least). I've spent much more on moisturizer in the past.

This company sources out the sea buckthorn berry through fair trade agreements with local harvesters in Tibet (this orange berry is thrives in the harsh conditions and high altitude of the Himalayas).

Sibu's representative explained that they make only 1 type of moisturizer, as sea buckthorn has the great ability to adapt to skin type (hmmmm seemed a bit farfetched).

But moving on... this berry is extremely high in Omegas 3, 6, 7,9, carotenoids, flavonids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. Everything your skin loves... and when incorporated in a cream, it:
1. Promotes tissue recovery and healing.
2. Rejuvenates sun damaged skin.
3. Protects against environmental stress.
4. Preserves healthy skin tone and texture.
5. Boosts collagen production.

This 100% natural cream is paraben-free, cruelty-free, dairy-free, wheat-free, gluten-free, sodium-free, yeast-free, and preservative-free.  In addition to sea buckthorn oil it also contains orange and lemon essential oils, which give it a lovely light citrus scent with a bit of a green undertone.

I'm really loving this moisturizer. It's incredibly light and fast absorbing. Has a bit of a calming effect. I haven't noticed any drastic improvements when it comes to combating my imperfections, but still this has a very high possibility of being repurchased.
